Federal Work Study Important Dates

05/09/13

Spring 2013 FWS Employment Ends
Students who do not have
• an FWS award for the Summer or
• at least half-time* enrollment for Summer or
• Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
must cease working after this day.

05/10/13

Summer 2013 FWS Employment Begins
FWS STUDENTS: Those whose Financial Aid Status show that Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is met and the To Do List is complete must submit the following documents to their supervisors before returning to work for Fall:

• Award Summary
(printed out from View My Financial Aid)
• Class Schedule
(showing at least half-time enrollment)

FWS Community Service Workshops

All FWS students must complete the Federal Work Study Contract prior to working. It can be found under the forms section of the Office of Student Financial Assistance website.

Community Services Workshops are only required for students who wish to work at a Off-Campus Community Service Site. The Workshops are located in the Office of Student Financial Assistance, Millican Hall Room 120. Students are advised to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the Workshop to sign in and be seated.

To register for a Workshop, please complete and submit the online registration form. FWS Community Service Workshop Registration Form.
If you wish to decline FWS, you may do so on the Workshop Registration Form.
